  • Sign Cinema will work with our partnering institutions to create intern and apprenticeship programs that will emphasize on-the-job training critical to future employment.  Sign Cinema is currently developing programs which we will present to the local Deaf schools and higher learning institutions for consideration.  Programs may be available as early as winter of 2020.

Student Summer Employment Program

This program hires students to work for temporary/summer positions. Students work flexible work schedules, and are from all educational levels. Work assignments may be, but are not required to be, related to the academic field of study.

Career Experience Program

This program hires students for valuable work experience directly related to their academic field of study. This program will require a formal agreement between the student, the school, and Sign Cinema.  Students may be eligible for permanent employment under this program after successfully completing their education and after working a minimum of required work hours to be determined. Students work flexible work schedules, and are from all educational levels, however SIgn Cinema may make a preference to students who are juniors and seniors.

Student Volunteer Emplyment Program

This program will hire students to work as volunteers (in an unpaid capacity) for valuable work experience directly related to their academic field of study. Students may receive educational credit for their internship.

To enhance the performance component of PSAA’s intern program, students will enjoy networking and collaborating with PSAA’s ongoing relationships with the Georgia Film community, Arts organizations, educational partners, culinary and hospitality partners, and business community contacts.   We anticipate an oversaturated demand for the vast opportunities that await us.  Our students will benefit in a variety of ways.
